Functions

Following functionality can be accessed with the buttons shown at the top.

Note: Express Mode is not available on mobile platforms yet.

File Transfer

To access files with your iPhone/iPad in Safari, please enter iOS Settings, go to Safari, General and deactivate Block Pop-ups.

During upload, do not leave mobile Safari, i.e. do not change the application.

Please note that longer running uploads of larger files can lead to unrecoverable interrupts since the mobile operating system may suspend execution of the browser process. If possible, please use your laptop for uploading for such files.

You can transfer files either with the web browser or accelerated with the free TIXstream Express client (TXE Client) for MS Windows and macOS.

Especially for large files using TXE Client is strongly recommended. Besides higher transfer rates this also allows to recover interrupted transfers.

Express Transfer

For using the TXE client select Express Mode and use the Upload and Download buttons for the entire set of files.

Web Browser

Deactivate Express Mode.

For web browser uploads use the Upload button and select a file to be transferred to the server. To download a file with the web browser, click on the file's download icon in the file list.

Current and popular browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge are suitable. For uploads and downloads that are larger than 1 GByte, use of legacy (non-Chromium-based) Edge is not recommended, as it can lead to errors or interrupted transfers.

Critical File Name Characters

Using certain characters for file names may cause issues when exchanging files between Windows, macOS and Linux. Even if many symbols are supported by TIXstream FX they can lead to failures in further third party processing.

Please avoid using special characters in file names. Especially the following characters should not be used.
