Use to create a new FX job for uploading files by yourself or other users when sharing this job.

Start by choosing a Template. Beside your own templates you may also find administrative templates.

Fill out title and other fields and create the job. You may change and add items later as well, e.g. share the job.

Details

Various parameters can help you and others to identify an FX job. Providers may define these input forms and thus elements vary. Data may be edited later.

You can share an FX job with another user, e.g. for uploading files. Type in the user's e-mail address and select the corresponding functions or permissions.

The FX systems can send an invitation to the specified e-mail address. This e-mail contains a URI (link) for direct access to the shared FX job. If you prefer to share this URI in another way (e.g. in an own e-mail), deactivate sending. After creating the share, go to "Shared with", and click on the corresponding e-mail address to show and copy the URI.
Allowing re-share gives users the permission to create further shares of this FX job. However, these share users cannot create shares with access rights that exceed their own permissions. For example, they may not allow uploads for others if they only have download permissions themselves.

You can remove a share by using the corresponding trash can.

Targets

You can add targets to a job in order to pass uploaded content to other systems for further processing. The TIXstream FX system forwards uploaded files to the selected targets as final destinations as soon as you or another user locks the job.

Properties

You can define several settings and limitations for a job:

Expires Defines a date at which the FX job will be removed from the system.
Max. files Limits the total number of files for this FX job. For system default, use no value or 0.
Max. size Limits the total size of all files in this job. For system default, use no value or 0. You may use MB, GB or TB postfix to provide mega, giga or terabytes, e.g. 10GB.
Directories Allow folders or force "flat" files only.
Job Mode Select workspace for long-term use or workflow for one-time processing. A workflow job can only be locked once. In journal mode, locking creates a snapshot copy of the current job (files, job details etc.) and processes it in the background. Thus, e.g. files can be added, removed or job details can be changed immediately to create an updated version of the job. Please note that processing is correspondingly resource-intensive, especially if large files are involved
Metadata Specifies metadata handling for this FX job. Potential values are: none, auto-generated or user-provided (optional or mandatory).
Details Form Specifies form type used for details.

Settings

In the settings dialog (via the burger menu) you may define elements of the job creation dialog to suit your requirements.

You can also enable status notification e-mails for jobs you create in the future.
